So that IP is in the event log on my internal DNS and belongs to the Czech Republic.
The System Monitor utility is the main tool used to monitor system performance.
System Monitor can track various processes on the Windows system in real time.
However, that DNS server address does not resolve names on the corporate network because that DNS server is intended to resolve names on the network the VPN client computer is attached to before connecting to the ISA firewall/VPN server, or to resolve only Internet host names.
Internal network names are computer and other device names on your internal network.
You can use the DNS performance counters to generate statistics on: You can use Network Monitor to monitor network traffic, and to troubleshoot network issues or problems.
Network Monitor shipped with Windows Server 2003 allow you to monitor network activity and use the gathered information to manage and optimize traffic, identify unnecessary protocols, and to detect problems with network applications and services.
DNS issues comprise a major portion of connectivity problems related to ISA Server 2000 firewalls and VPN servers.
ISA Server firewall/VPN servers and clients use DNS host name resolution to resolve both internal and external network names.
